The Shipibo-Conibo people of the Peruvian Amazon have worked with plant medicines for thousands of years. Their healing practice — centered on the sacred songs called ícaros and the visionary intelligence of the plants — is one of the most sophisticated and intact healing traditions on Earth. These retreats are held in deep respect for this lineage, guided by Shipibo maestros and who have carried the knowledge of their ancestors for decades.
